GMC Jimmy wont start?

My father in law's Jimmy wont start. It's acting like its not getting fuel (tried starting fluid, nothing). You can hear the fuel pump turn on. Rolls over fine, just wont catch. Hooked a computer to it and it didn't find any codes (yes we checked it correctly). Ran perfectly fine, let it sit for a day and this is what it has been like since. Any ideas? I can't remember the year right off the top of my head but it is mid-late 1990's.

You have a Spark issue.
Most common thing on the VIN "W" 4.3L is:

1. The distributor cap and rotor.
2. Check the white wire at the ignition coil connector, and follow it back about 3-4 inches and check the wire for an internal break.

If the engine turns over and starting fluid does not make it crank up for a second, then the problem is likely spark related instead of fuel related.

Check the fuse because older vehicles fuses tend to wear out. if that dosent work Check the compression on the motor. If it ran fine the day before its most likely something electronic
