God! how do i improve my sense of humor? I suck at it. Please help?

I always try to be funny, but in most cases, i end up being laughed at, especially by girls. I am fine when iam around with guys. I have a moderately good sense of humor with guys, but with girls, i dont know... please help guys....

what can you say when a friend of u ( a girl) says.. You Suck! and smiles.... what can u say?

What can you say when she says, you're so boring... and before she says that everytime she meets me, what can i say which can keep her mind busy? ... i used to take it lightly everytime, but today , iam hurt... badly... i wanna improve my sense of humor.. please help! thanks

If your jokes are working with the guys and not the gals, maybe it's because you're using raunchy material, which is very risky with a female audience. Never use a dirty joke with a female unless you really know her sense of humor. Otherwise, you might as well be feeling one of her breasts. Does that sound unreasonable?

If the power of Satan compels you to use a dirty line with a girl, at least let it be your exit line. Say the line, then gotta go. The most idiotic thing is to say the dirty line and stare at her, which means, "I'm mentally undressing you right now."

Could it be that you're too jokey? Coming up with a lot of stuff, most of it mediocre? You might want to think more about waiting until you've got something really funny before you joke. Everybody likes a good listener, and it takes pressure off you.

Some people just aren't cut out to be funny. Maybe instead of humoring people, you could try flattering them or impressing them with your intelligence?

I used to try too hard to be funny, and I found that my humor is sarcastic, dry and satirical. If you're interested in dating said girls, just be yourself! Funny or not, you're sure to win one of them over with something you've got. Not being the clown doesn't mean you're uneventful or anything, it just means that it's not your personality. xD

Ermmm.... there isnt really a way to improve humor. Its all about timing just remember that. Also, chicks like light humor, at least from my personal experiences. It sounds like you shouldn't worry about humor as much as you should idle talking. If you really wanna try to get funnier watch some comedians do stand up. I suppose if you study it it could help...

well it really depends on that type of person. A sesnse of humor is not always the same for everyone. you can be funny to one person and just annoying to another. you have to find what people thikn is funny.

when a girl says that just be mean right back to her she'll know not to say stuff like that to you again and that your having none of it, she may respect you more...it might even make her want you!

Honestly though im a girl and i dont think every girl favourite is the joker type..when someone is trying to make jokes all the time they look like such a fool and its not funny anymore! the best thing is to be yourself if you seem to be trying hard to be funny you will just look pathetic! dont worry some one will like you for who you are:) good luck

I am a very funny person, I was voted the funniest in school last year. A good thing to say when people say you suck is " you swallow"

When she says your boring, sing! Sing a horrible love song in a weird ass voice.

Girls like it when your constantly talking to them, dont stay silent. If you want some good material, listen to Dane Cook, get some tips off him. He's halarious, and just the way he says things can make people go crazy.

And this may seem mean, but bagging on other people is pretty funny too. Just dont try to hurt their feelings.
