Going from a middle school to highschool, do the rumors go away?

I've had some people say stuff totally not true. Actually, none of the rumors are true. But I guess everyone would say that.. But I'm about to go to the highschool, do you think they will go away? None of my highschool friends know about the rumors, only people in my grade. What's happened in your experiences?
