Going on a cruise, leaving from Canada?

Me and my family (of 4) are thinking of going on a Caribbean cruise, however, we live in new Brunswick so the nearest cruise is from new York. What would be the cheapest, and what would be the est option for us? Drive to new York, train to new York, fly to new York, or get a plane to a different port where they offer better cruise ships?
