Crock Pot Our fave is Chicken Breasts (4 or so)1 cup of sour cream1 can of cream soupCook on low heat for 6 hours and serve over rice. BBQ ribs are my sons fave. Brown some boneless ribs and then stick in crock pot. Cover with BBQ sauce and cook on low heat until done (I cook all day).

Chili in the crock pot is very easy. Also, you can put chicken pieces in the pot with a bottle of bbq sauce. Once it is cooked just use a fork to pull the chicken apart. Serve on buns with pickles and potato salad or coleslaw.Use the waffle maker to press sandwiches. Just put turkey, ham, or favorite lunch meat with cheese slices on favorite bread. Then, spread the outside of slices with margarine or butter and place in waffle maker. I like to put cranberries on turkey and then press.

I love camping/rving! Here are some favorite crockpots that would work. Also, we always make my husband's chili and have it once with fritos, etc. and another time with chili dogs or over hamburgers. Cook on low 8-10 hours. Yummy!!!Serve with baked beans, cornbread…and this salad is great:Caesar Coleslaw1 pkg pre-made coleslaw1/4-1/2 cup shredded parmesean cheese1/2 pkg caesar croutons1 bottle creamy caesar dressingToss first three ingredients together. Add enough dressing to coat. It's even good the next day! This one we cut and chop before we leave home. You may substitute the type of soup you use in any combination (for example: 2 cans cream of chicken soup and one can celery soup).Add the diced celery, onion, and garlic and stir. Submerge the chicken in the soup.Turn heat to high for 10 minutes, then reduce to medium and cook for 4-5 hours. Or cook on high for 3-4 hours.Pork Parisienne6-8 boneless pork chopsSalt and pepperPaprika1 can cream of mushroom soup1 small can sliced mushrooms1 cup sour cream½ cup waterSprinkle pork with salt, pepper, and paprika. Place in crockpot. Mix soup, water, mushrooms, and sour cream. Pour of pork chops. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and cook low for 6-8 hours. Trim fat from pork chops. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Dredge chops in flour mixture, then place them in the skillet, and brown both sides. Place in chops into a slow cooker, and pour the chicken and rice soup over them. Cover, and cook on Low about 8 hoursAlso, here's the chili recipe...to die for!Chili2 lbs ground beef2-3 large cans of crushed tomatoes1 large can of chopped green chiles3-4 cans of beans (I like red kidney and black, but pintos are goods too)6 cloves of garlic (I use more most of the time, but we really like our garlic)1 large onion chopped2 Tbs cumin (more is good too)4-6 Tbs chili powder (McCormick is good, but I use different varieties too)Brown the meat with the garlic and onion. The place the meat in the crock pot and add all of the canned items, the cumin, and the chili powder. Stir and let it get to know itself for at least three hours. I usually don't have to add any liquid as the beans and tomatoes generally have enough. However, I have been known to add beer if I need additional liquid - American lager works well for this. And his great burrito recipe, which we always make while camping...Want Mexican? This is the best burrito recipe from my wonderful hunk of a husband:Best Burritos Ever…1 lb. hamburger1 can refried beans with lime4 little cans chopped green chilis1 Tbsp. Put 1/4 cup cheese in tortilla and microwave for 20 seconds. Fill with meat mixure and sour cream and salsa. Fold. Enjoy. Also, we love to play cards and have dip and chips. This is our favorite dip recipe:This is the best and easiest dip recipe, and people always rave! I tell them it’s really hard to make (lol):Cream Cheese Dip2 large blocks of cream cheese1 large jar Pace picante (medium)-use most of the jarSoften cream cheese and mix with hand mixer until smooth. Add picante and mix with hand mixer. Leave in frig for a few hours to blend flavors. Serve with chips.I know it seems too simple to be great, but it is!Hope one or more become your favorite family camping recipes.Chris
