Good bargains in New York City in September?

Hello,
This September I'm going to NYC and I'd like to do some shopping but do you think I'll find some great sales for e.g at Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Guess, Bath and body works, Dooney and Bourke etc... Or it's better to go to Woodbury Premium Outlet?

Oh by the way I'm not from the States so I think you guys will help me better.
 
well idk b/c september is pretty far away so noone is talking about their september sales right now
i know Macys is having sales now b/c they are doing bad and need to close stores
some places that always have deals are Filenes Basement, and Century 21. If you're going to leave the city try Jersey Gardens it is much closer to Manhattan than the Woodbury Outlets.
