I don't know exactly what the theme is called, I just made that name up. The theme can be described like this:
_ Some point in the future (may be present, or past as well), the world (or one particular area) has gone into a system with odd rules.
_ Some people may be ok with those rules, but most are not.
_ Some one (or most likely a group) decides to make a stand against the system.

Some examples that have that theme:
_ Equilibrium (film): world without emotion, as soon as you show any emotion you'll be executed
_ Ultraviolet (film): watched it so long ago I can't remember the plot, but it seems in someway related to the theme as well.
_ The island (film): world in which clones are made to replace human body parts
_ Daybreakers (film): world in which almost everyone has become vampires
_ The hunger games (trilogy, book): country in which the capitol forces the district to obey by arranging the hunger games.
_ I just started reading Divergent by Veronica Roth and it also seems fit to the theme.

With that said, I'm looking for:
_ Books(most likely novels), not movies/manga. I'll need titles and author names, some quick review or rating would be great (WITHOUT SPOILERS)
_ Surprising twists and turns
_ As little gore and/or sex as possible (none would be great)

So anyone can recommend good reads with said theme? Thanks in advance.
