Okay, I am probably the most indecisive person on the planet and my uni have asked me to submit a portfolio of poems to their creative writing department. I was thinking this one (I posted it before, but I've edited). Do you think it will do? Also, if you've read any of my other poems, which one do you think I should submit?

Thanks :-)

Sweeter than air to a waterlogged lung,
a dance that can’t stop once the music’s begun,
more precious than gold to greedy old kings;
you’re equal to joy that a miracle brings.
Like light after years in a fathomless dark,
you brought me alive, my lost other half

So of course I push you, I push you away.
You’re tortured by words that I just cannot say.
And I scowl and I curse shouting things I don’t mean,
and inside I ignore my deafening screams;
“I love you, I love you!” The words will not come.
“I love you, I love you! Don’t leave, we’re not done!”

Though You’d never predict my internal distress,
I hide it too well, I’m a pro, I’m the best.
So be proud of your love, of me, of this gift
The one that allows your attentions to drift
The one that will let your current affair
To blossom and flower, sweeter than air.

This one is good .. You have quite a few that I think are excellent, was it you that wrote the one that inspired me to put a hit out? haha? I did not..!

How many do you need to submit? a portfolio would contain more than one.. I would take the ones you got the best reviews or reactions to when you posted them. If they bring a reaction of any kind they are making a statement.
