Good Mountain bikes around the $1000 mark?

Hello all i have up too AU$1099 to spend on a new mountain bike. I live in Adelaide Australia.

Does anyone know of any descent Mountain bikes around that range, I did have a Norco Wolverine which was great. Im looking for a bike that stylish and good for a few Dirt jumps and stuff... Riding to school etc.
