Romeo x Juliet is absolutely stellar, and fixes a lot of frustrations I had when characters in Shakespeare's play acted stupid. It's charming, and exciting, even though it's still a tragedy.
Princess Tutu is pretty decent, if you can look past the ballerinas and magical-girl-ness to the story behind the story, about a conniving author controlling all the characters in the anime and how the characters, particularly Tutu, are able to break free from their written fates. Though it IS set at a school, so read up on it more before deciding to watch it.
