Good suggestions of guitars for hardcore music?

I know try before you buy but there are a lot of guitars and I'm kinda lost of where to start for this genre of music. I was thinking something from maybe these brands Schecter, Ibanez, Jackson, and ESP? Thanks and please no guitars that are like $800.
