Google Plus help! Android app is not the right email?

So I just signed up for google + the other day. I love it and all and tried to get the app for my phone. The problem is, once I downloaded the app it automatically used my gmail account, which is not the email I used to create my google + account. Because of this it created a profile with my gmail account when I already have an account with friends in circles already. Is there a way to make the app compatible with my online google + account?
My email is synced to my phone. That is my primary email which I get notifications for.
 
my email addresses are already synced with my phone and it still wont work. and now i cant even log out of the gmail account! what kind of app makes it so that you cant log out?
