I have a Samsung Acclaim, on the US Cellular network. I am using Google Voice to send my text messages, since with an unlimited data plan, it's totally free.
My problem is, sometimes it will take 10 minutes for Google Voice to notify me I have a new text message. I never kill the task, it just seems like it's slow as hell about syncing the inbox. Only way to know for sure is manually refreshing it all day long, and I'm not doing that.
Any suggestions?
