Got LG GW300 phone. What's java powered, operating system & what programs/apps can
I install and how? I got a LG GW 300 aka Gossip cellphone. When I click on a pre-loaded game it says I think java powered.
At the LG website at this link http://www.lg.com/ca_en/mobile-phones/all-phones/LG-GW300.jsp it says about the phone
"Operating System
WISE On MTK/KADAK:ARM9 (MTK Atlas 3H Lite)" and "Java (version)
Yes(2.0)"
I don't know much about computers and programs. I was wondering,
1) What does that mean what it says about the operating system "WISE On MTK..." and what is Java?
2) What kinds of programs or apps can I install and run on this phone and how would I install them?
3) Does anyone know where I can download nice, good quality games to play on this phone for free?
4) If I want to search for programs or apps or games to run on this phone, should I just search for Java programs?
5) I came across a program I was thinking about installing and it was saying I needed as requirements "A Java-enabled Mobile Phone that supports:
- MIDP 1.0 or 2.0
- JAR (Java Archive) files of size 520 KB+
- 100 KB of Free RAM (i.e. Phone memory, not Storage)" I don't know what is JAR and MIDP but will I be able to run that program on this mobile phone of mine, the LG GW300?
