Graco Travel System Canopy!?

I just put together my travel system and and when I open the canopy, its very, very hard to open I have to force it and it makes a LOUD clicking noise and the sides where its installed into the system look as if there about to pop off..Same thing to close it. Its not your normal click sound like its breaking and it looks like it to. Does anyone know what I could have done wrong?? Thanks alot!
 
Sorry you must have gotten a bad one! I would call Graco or go to Graco.com and tell them. I'm a graco fan and never have had a problem and I have a graco double stoller, graco single stroller and graco infant seat. Nothing steers as good as a graco stroller! Good Luck
 
I had the same problem with the front canopy on my Graco double stroller. I finally just gave up and took the front canopy off. It's much easier to manage now, but I will never buy another Graco stroller.
