lol. you must be damn desperate to ask this question on the day before your tournament. you must be a TMA since you listed kemp and jujutsu. there is nothing that yahoo answer can help you right now. If you want to continue a grappling career, then quit ur traditional jujutsu or kemp school and join a bjj, wrestling or judo school. These schools will actually help you.
First off, one would hope you were doing some training prior to today. If I were to give some advice (as a fan, I have never participated in the octagon) I would say keep your weight positioned correctly. It seems like in watching MMA fights and the like that even after training really hard, some competitors just don't hold themselves correctly, and thus are easier to take down, to get position on, and ultimately to submit. By contrast, some competitors either keep a low center of gravity so they are hard to move, or keep really light on their feet so they can avoid being taken down.
are you serious? Physical conditioning takes months of training. That is small compared to training you need for grappling in terms of technique. Honestly, Learn the wrestler's headlock and just go for it...but you are gonna get schooled.
