Greeting the New Year in Maine?

A couple of friends and I thought it would be pretty cool to drive to the easternmost point in the U.S. to be the first to see the New Year. Thing is, we don't know where that point is, how to get there, or any other details that would help. We're currently in Westport Connecticut, does anyone have any tips or routes or suggestions? Thanks!
