My friend and i decided we are going to sign up for a gym membership we have never gone to the gym before and just want to know what is the best plan for us to do while we are there. We already eat healthy and we want to go to the gym for and hour three days a week. So what is the best plan for us? I was thinking 20 minutes treadmill, 20 minutes spinning, 20 minutes elliptical, and 10 minutes weights? But i have no idea i am a newbie. Oh and also what do you think about this workout http://www.youtube.com/user/PompaHealthSolutions#p/u/6/Ym7d2MzZ96I ? thanks :)

Depends on why you go to the gym for. Get more cardio or get buff amd strong, if its for cardio do what you said, if youre going to get strong then what i do is 15 min running then 45 min weights, then again 15 but in eleptical, then 45 min weights then 15 min in Bicycle

Wow that workout video is old. That type of workout is now referred to as HIIT, high intensity interval training. It is good, but I wouldnt do an hiit workout along with everything else you plan on doing.
You may want to start off with weights first though because cardio first will drain you (this can vary for people). Instead of saying 10 minutes here 20 there maybe saying okay I want to do 1 mile jogging on the treadmill, 20 minutes of intervals on the eliptical and for weights pick for example legs for one day and do different exercises for the legs, 3 sets of 10-12 reps.

Check out this link they have tons of exercise moves for different parts and also info on HIIT.
