I've found out that many, if not most, hairdryers sold in UK, even though they claim to be dual voltage and usable world-wide don't work in America. Since the voltage in the majority of cruise ships is 110v, and the dryers are usually rated 120/220/240, can anyone advise which manufacturers' dryers ARE suitable.? My daughter wants to buy her own, rather than use the one supplied by the cruise line.
