I get all the stuff about draco and him disarming dumbledore and all of that but i want to know one thing. I also know everything about harry disarming draco and him gaining mastery so u dont have to tell me that stuff. I want to know did someone have to have physical possession of the wand in order to have the powers. Did the wands powers transfer from dumbledores wand to dracos because i know draco didnt have physical possession of the elder wand. So is dracos wand actually the elder wand now ( not physically meaning)

From what I understood after reading the book, the power of the wand doesn't transfer to another wand, even if that wand belongs to the person who is the master of the Elder Wand as well. After disarming Dumbledore, Draco became the master of the Elder Wand, so if he would have taken the EW, the wand's powers would have been available for him. Because Voldemort wasn't the master of the EW, the wand worked like a normal one for him, no extra powers.
