I lived for many years in a very abusive relationship with my Husband.
I finally got the courage to stand up to him and after speaking to the Police it was agreed that I would follow through with charging him with assault. He was arrested and removed from the home.
The Crown offered him 12 months probation and stated he would not have a record if he pleaded guily and attended anger management sessions. Well he plead NOT GUILTY...which is typical of these men. They will never ever admit or take responsibility for their actions. Especially since he is a "Marriage Counsellor" of all things. You would never believe the facade he puts forth in the community versus who he really is behind closed doors.
Even though I have done nothing wrong, I worry what he has up his sleeve. He thrives on this stuff, and he is a very evil man. Help!!
