has anyone used the cvs brand nicotine patches?? did it work?

my aunt just put the cvs brand nicotine patch on its been about an hour and she doesnt feel anything just wondering if anyone has used them and if they worked for you
 
it helped. i still smoke though. good luck to her though. xxx
 
cvs nicotine patches....not great

i don't recommend CVS patches. i bought a package of the 21mg patches from CVS a couple of days ago, and to me they don't feel as strong or effective as some of the generic brands i've used from walgreens or walmart. also, they don't stick as well. they seem to fall off too easily in the shower. other brands REALLY stick and stay on.
 
cvs brand patch

i have smoked for 26 years....in 3 weeks i have had one cigarette on the second day of my quit. I have tried to quit many times in the past..you have to really want to quit or you won't.

I don't want to quit, but I just might do it out of spite now. It seems like a universal trait for people to do what others say is impossible, and in this case, it improves one's chances of survival. What you said might be very accurate, but it does discourage smokers from even attempting to quit.
