Has history proved that Freud's theories on dream interpretation are correct?

No, very few of Freud's theories have been proven to be correct. There are a few different modern theories of dreams, one of the more popular ones being that dreams are just the manifestations of your sleeping brain thinking normal thoughts that get out of hand because you are not being subjected to any external stimuli.

nothing can be proven, it is all up to interpretation. if you feel that freud's theories work for you, go for it. but there is a lot of controversy regarding freud and his theories on...well...just about all of his theories are controversial.

it's impossible to find a truth to anything in the world, you have to go by whatever works for you when you need it.

if you're very interested, maybe look into take a psychology course?
