Okay, now I know this is going to invoke some strong responses. I've trained in Ju-jitsu for nearly twenty years now and seen UFC and Cage Fighting evolve from it's small startings to the global phenomon that it's now.

Now, my opinion of the techniques that most fighters seem to use now, especially the grappling, is 'Ju-jitsu'. This is not mean't as an insult, before anyone thinks it is. What really gets my goat is that I've had MMA fighters speak to me or visit my club and say, MMA better than Ju-jitsu. However they are astounded that they can't beat my students and that I can escape out of any of they're holds etc, so obviously they never return. Bear in mind of the fact that there are clubs that do not have properly trained instructors.

Even a certain British UFC fighter used to train in this style and sent his child to my club because 'it's the same stuff' he teaches!

So I just want to know people's opinions on this!
