Has the iphone 4 reception problem been fixed?

I really want to get one but was wondering if the reception problem really is that bad, and has it been sorted out??
 
The Death Grip no not yet lol. The problem isn't that bad. Look into windows phone no death grip on them. At&t- Samsung Focus, HTC Surround, LG Quantum T-Mobile- HTC HD7, Dell venue pro
