Im due to have a little boy in 3 weeks!!
my question is about his name.
My father passed away from cancer about 3 weeks after i got married last year...i really believe he hung on to walk me down the aisle and then hung on till i got back off honeymoon(which i wish i hadnt gone on now..) Anyway my dad has such a big heart and smile and i was such a daddys girl...it was the proudest moment of my life when he walked me down the aisle...and i felt even prouder when i could read the eulogy at his funeral...
My dad was william douglas..we found out i was pregnant 3 months after he passed away.
I wanted to remember him in the name of my son by calling him Liam Douglas. Liam being a shortened and more modern adaptation of william. As our son will be unique(so not the exact same name) but i hope to raise him with the same values of my dad...what do you think?
