i was sent to a hospital on the wirral by my gp as i was in severe pain and had blood in urine, i was in for a week and a half and had a few tests done then got sent home on pain killers
i returned to my dr's 3 days later to get more pain killers and he did water test and sent me back in, that was on the wednesday, i saw urology consultant for first 3 days then nothing. 10 days later i was sent for tests then i saw nobody.
turns out that urology had refered me to general surgery but they never got the referal so i sat for a week and half with no consultant because no one knew i was there, when i did finally ask about it a gynae reg saw me and said i was in a lot of pain and discharged me, i refused to go without treatment so next day a different reg saw me and discharged me, i was in for 16 days this time and all i got was a load of pain killers again, i cannot work like this.
what can i do, my nurse told me that i fell through the system
one dr told me it was adhesions and they would operate, another said they don't operate on them, i am on 8 different painkillers every 6 hours!
all scans came back clear that's why they are saying adhesions, i cannot function like this anymore.
