Have you ever hitch hiked anywhere far away?

I once hitch hiked from Pensacola to Key West and back. I also hitch hiked from Pensacola to Saginaw, MI and then to San Fransisco, I was young and having fun. I used to hitchhike to New Orleans and back to Pensacola when I worked on the tug boats too.
