Have you ever really met a true atheist(Not an anti-Christ,they don't count)?

I have heard from a lot of so-called atheists, but I would actually like to see the viewpoints of a "true" atheist. Most of those calling themselves atheists are nothing more than anti-Christs.And aren't they parasites,of a sort? They use the God-given rights of the Constitution to spew their hatred of Jesus and God (i.e.the right of free speech, freedom of religion, and so on),rights given by the Creator, not government.Notice how there are no atheists in muslim countries?

I consider myself a "true" atheist. I don't hate Christ, Christians or any other religious people or beliefs. I just don't buy the fluff and choose to do my own thing. I don't spew anything and I don't share my opinions unless somebody asks, and even then, I won't tell a religious person they are wrong, but I will respectfully disagree. I do occasionally refer to religion as nonsense...but it's not meant to be offensive or hateful.

I haven't met either. (Not in person anyway) Mostly due to the fact that I live in a small town and haven't been able to move away yet.

And I'm pretty sure the reason there are no atheists in muslim countries is because they have taken to blowing up anyone who holds different beliefs than them.

There are no atheists in Muslim countries or Christian Africa because they kill them.

Also, according to the bible, anyone who doesn't believe Jesus was "the Christ" "God and the Spirit" and "came in the flesh" is an antichrist. Not only does that easily cover all atheists, but the vast majority of the human population as well. You should really read a bible. Start with 1John for the antichrist. It should be embarrassing when the local Forn Sed Heathen knows it better than the local Middle Eastern worshiper does. That's one of your own books, dude!

There are no "viewpoints" in atheism. It's the name given to an attribute some people have -- the ones that don't believe YOUR claims (or anyone else's) about magical gods.

"Notice how there are no atheists in muslim countries?" There are -- they just can't say so in public, because they'd have their heads cut off. Just like it used to be in "christian countries" before we took political power away from the church.

Peace.

In some countries as with Muslim countries they don't have the same rights and are subject to the laws of their land and in some instances there is either no belief or one that you are to adhere to. You have no choices.
In our country we have a choice to either be objective with our beliefs while doing our JOB effectively and without malice or prejudice or we can deviate from what we believe for special interest groups or we can choose to live solely for what we believe without consideration for what someone else believes. It takes all kinds to make a world and I choose to treat others as I would like to be treated and if NO respect is showed, then no respect is returned, and to me it doesn't matter if you have faith, believe in God or not. Actions speak louder than words and those intentionally deceiving people have a type of body language that is an instant give away....so avoid them at all costs.

You're seeing this from a US perspective. Here in England, there are plenty of atheists. Some of them are anti-Christian as well but some are really not. I'm sure there are atheists in some Muslim countries which don't have freedom of speech who can't express them freely.

Far be it from me to comment on your Constitution, but i would've thought that the idea of a God-given right could refer as much to something like Zoroastrianism as it does to Christianity. Why do you think it refers to the Christian God?

I was married to an atheist. Hon, he just couldn't find it within himself to believe in God or any gods.

He never mocked my faith and he never tried to recruit me to his "side."

I could have never married an anti theist. They don't only hate God, they hate, period.

BYW, my atheist converted to the Catholic faith after 8 years of marriage. And, I can't take any credit for trying to get him to do so. It was truly the workings of the Holy Spirit.

I am a true atheist *salutes proudly*

You realise that eing an atheist only invovles not believing in God right? You can still have different opinions.
And if I was in a Muslim country (assuming that by this you mean Iraq, Iran etc) I would bloody well keep quiet about it! People aren't really going to want to be killed for that.

Why, would you prefer it if everyone with different views to you was executed?

Hello there, I am a true atheist.

And obviously, in theocratic muslim countries, there would be no official atheists. However belief cannot be forced.
