...other people arguing? How would you control nervous break downs in public, if it is usually triggered by people who were trying to be rude and belligerent towards other people in the same public setting you are in?
I am in nursing college full time, and there are two women in my class that are so rude to other people of different races when ever they feel like it. Its like these women just enjoy picking on people who are not their race and look forward to putting people down by asking the rudest questions out of the clear blue sky to people they don't even know or have even talked to before.
Thursday, it got so bad that this one rude and arrogant woman was putting caucasian and hispanic women down by making comments to her other friend intending for all women in the class to hear her. My nerves got shot so bad after that, that I went into a complete nervous breakdown in class and had to leave the room with the professors permission.
How do I stop this, and I do not want to take any anti-anxiety medications that can put people in seizures which is one of the top side effects anti-anxiety medications have.
I am just ready to scream at this woman, by saying "CAN YOU JUST STOP?!" over and over again until she starts to behave. I know that will not work, but really how would you control your nerves in a situation with racial tensions between black women who obviously enjoy putting hispanic and white people down in public?
Riots a few years ago occurred in cincinnati ohio, and the tensions are definitely not going away. How would you control anxiety related to situations like this?
