Ok, opinion time! I'm not pregnant...YET! But TTC#2.. I've said that when I know I'm pregnant I'll stop riding..well I haven't ridden in about 3 weeks because I thought I might be pregnant..I took a test today, negative, but still haven't gotten my period. I just don't want to miscarry.. not that I ever have before, I've only been pregnant 1 time before, and have a 22 mo old daughter.. I ride an 8 y/o thoroughbred gelding, 16hh..just wanted to know your thoughts? My friend who is an avid rider and is TTC #1 says she heard you can ride til your 8 months..I said at 8 months along you won't want to be climbing up on a horse! LOL! But I would think that's extremely dangerous.. I went to a rode a month ago and learned one of the girls was 12 weeks pregnant, I thought it was dumb..and a lady beside me said she wouldn't chance it, what happens if you fall or the horn (obviously you western riders)..slams into your stomach by accident? Or would it be okay to ride the first 12 weeks? Just looking for opinions again, try not to make rude remarks
