my computer crashed a while ago, and i unfortunately lost all my music. But! my friend has most of the same music on her ipod, so she lent it to me so i could use music rescue to get some of my songs back. she has a mac computer though, so my computer won't even acknowledged when her ipod is plugged in, and i am having various difficulties with all the music retrieval programs i have tried. i had used music rescue one before on my old computer and it worked fine, but this new one is stupid.
the computer is an hp compaq, and has windows xp... or so the sticker says!
any suggestions as to how i can get my songs back would be great, (preferably with legit programs, don't want my computer to get a virus!)
