having some issues with rock band 2 drum set (xbox 360)?

all the buttons and the bass pedal work except the drum pads don't register at all. happened before thought just turn off the controller and turn it back on to see if that works and it did. but next time i wanted to play same thing happened so turn it off and back on but this time the drum pads didn't register this time. i was just wondering what could be the problem with it and some solutions thanks

well at times the problem can be that you have used them too much and the sensors in the pads have been broken or shifted. your best bet is to call or email EA about the pads, you might even get a new drum set for free or maybe pay a lil fee.
