...picture quality be affected? I have a new Up-Scaling DVD player, new 1080p HDTV and a new Directv DVR receiver. All have HDMI ports. My Onkyo AV receiver is 6 yrs.old and without HD MI ports. Will this affect the DVD up-scaling to 1080p or the picture quality on the HDTV? Maybe I could bypass the video connection through the AV receiver?
