wanna kno which platform is better?? Symbian or android??
Ive been using symbian for years..bt kiinda getting fed up ov it.plz give me a detailed description bout android is being better now.
And sum sources plz
 
Since Nokia and Microsoft shook hands, you can consider Symbian dead now. Surely, Nokia will still release a couple of Symbian smartphones, but their official flagship OS is Windows Phone 7 now.

Android is really successful and will be for a long time. Google places big hopes in this project, and they will do everything to make it the best mobile OS.

Just to give you some pros of Android:
It's open source, very customizable, has Flash support, closely tied to Google services, huge variety of phones from different companies, almost all the Market apps are free.
 
Symbian is dead.

Nokia was the last one to use it and they recently switched to the Windows Mobile Operating System. (which is crap) So, there will be no more phones using the Symbian OS.

Android is MUCH better than Windows Mobile.

Personally, I think it may be the death of Nokia. Windows Mobile is just that bad. Ever had an Alarm Clock crash and made you late for a Final? Well, my phone that had Windows Mobile did! How does an Alarm Clock crash. That's what I want to know. lol
