I'm a real good shooter and Passer but whenever i play with new people the first time i double dribble make dumb passes ? but after i play the first time and play them again i beast it up? It bugs Bad! i feel like a scrub and i get really embarrsed. People laugh and shit but when we play again i shut them up.

You said you're a good shooter. Why not don't dribble the ball after receiving the pass. Change you game, receive-look-pass/shoot. Move without the ball. Make your teammates look like a screens. (Haha! Even if they're not giving you screens) Watch Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, Kyle Korver, Rip Hamilton. Look how those guys move without the ball. You'll get open shots, seriously. You said you're a good shooter, your teammates will probably pass you the ball the first time you asked for it. (While popping out on the wing from those screens) Good luck!

You have a problem reacting to new situations. Simply ignore the fact that you are playing new people and instead focus on your game. The game is what defines you and not the people you play try to think that way during games. Also, what could help you is to every so often just take a mental note of how you are reacting to the game (are you scared to be embarassed? just lost?" and mentally adjust your train of thought and FORGET about the negative thoughts! Simply tune them out.

I'm in middle 9th grade andI 've got the same problem as you. Do what I do. Play with the same group of people lol. For me, its partly because i'm a little nervous, partly because i try so hard that i think too much about getting my every move instead of just playing. When I think too hard, i screw up. This might be for you too. Also when you play with the same group of guys you learn their strengths and weaknesses better, and it becomes easier to defend against them.
Hope i helped, good luck bro
