Help customizing an LG Remarq?

I'm on sprint and I just got an LG Remarq. I downgraded from a smart phone. I want to use/make my own ringtones but I'm can't seem to find out how to do that on this phone. I'm extremely frustrated right now because on my last couple of phones using my own mp3s as ringers wasn't any big deal. It feels like this one is locked down like fort knox.

Does anyone know how to download songs onto the MicroSD card and assign them as ringers?

What file format the ringtones are?

How do I access the the files on my phone (not the removable media)? Are there programs I can download to get into my phone?

Also using a mac.
 
go to myxer.com that website really helped me yuh cud either go on your computer and make your ringtone on that website and send it to your phone or you could download them straght to your phone by going on the website on your fone and downoading them nd when your done downloading you cud go to Menu - My Stuff - Ringers and they will download there
