HELP!! Do I need a 3G smartphone or a 3G multimedia phone?

My 2-yr contract is over and it's time for me to upgrade my phone. I use Verizon and my current phone is the LG enV 2. I really like it cuz it's so simple to text with. However, I want to upgrade to a phone that will allow me to easily access Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, as well as my e-mail. I don't plan on doing a lot of web browsing, aside from occasionally checking the weather and sports scores...nothing fancy. I don't intend to play games or watch streaming videos or anything else of that nature. I also need capability of taking photos and recording videos for potential uploads to Facebook or Youtube. I have an iPod already but I would like my phone to be able to store a decent amount of songs in case I do not have my iPod with me.

Those are the basic guidelines for my decision. Please offer any help, it would be greatly appreciated.
 
You'll be able to do most of that with either phone, but it would be a lot easier on a smartphone. Especially when it comes to the video functions, I would definitely recommend an unlimited data plan since video eats up a lot of data, and you might as well get a much cooler phone if you're going to be paying for the data plan..
