times. Each time she turns the switch..? on the machine, the bell rings 3 times. During one hour, Shannon caused the bell on the machine to ring 23 times. How many times did she push the button?

2. If r = t/2 and t = w/2, what is (r+w) in terms of t?

3. If n is a positive 2-digit integer and both digits of n are the same, how many different values are possible..?

the only way to ge to 23 is 2 times 7 and 3 times 3. I just tried 1 then 2 then 3 7's and only the 2 7's work.

2) w=2t ------ r=t/2

r+w =t/2 +2t

......=5t?2
