Help! Google Redirect Virus is really stubborn?

Hi guys, I think I have the google redirect virus but it's a little weird because it doesn't take me to a different website on all my searches; just some certain ones. Also, I've been trying to get rid of it. I've tried everything from deleting some suspicious files manually (with instructions of course) to using anti-spyware programs like hitman 3. Another weird thing about it is that it takes me to the homepage that I set my browser to. Like example, if I change it to facebook, the search takes me to facebook and so on. Help please, it's really annoying & frustrating
