HELP!!!!!!!! how to stop predictive text on motorola pebl phone?

how do you stop the predictive text function so it will let me text normally not try and guess the word ?

my dads phone is the same way...he's trying to figure it out 2 (ik its weird for a 40 year old to text but he does) try calling your company or emailing the motorola company....(go to motorola.com, in the contact us section) my dad is trying that right now!!
