Help: I argue with my best friend/room mate ALL the time?

I met my best friend last year and we have been inseparable ever since. We have the same interests and sense of humour and get on really well. About 6 months ago we started to argue a bit but nothing too serious. Last year we were in halls of residence together at university and this year we decided to move into a flat/apartment together.

Ever since we moved in we have been a lot. Usually we have about three or four arguments a week over the stupidest little things. When it's a bad argument we usually won't speak for a couple of days until one of us apologises.

I am so sick of this. It seems like we an old married couple who constantly bicker. I feel like if she was my boyfriend then I would have broken up with her by now, but she's my best friend. Our friendship means a lot to me and I wouldn't want to ruin it. Because we live together (and will do for the next 3 years) I don't want things to get really bad. Does anyone have an advice? Thanks!

Honestly, I would try to spend some time apart from your friend. If the two of you can't go a week without arguing, something is wrong and it is seriously affecting your friendship. You say that you will be rooming together for the next three years and this doesn't sound like it will help. The two of you need to talk this out and make serious changes or the next three years will not be fun at all.
