like a week ago i rooted and deleted some shitty apps like Gtalk and midnight bowling off my android phone. i did this thinking it would make my battery last longer (it did ******* Gtalk started every 5 seconds). anyway while doing that i think i may have deleted something important cuz i cant download apps form the market any more and my i recently reset my phone due to a canvas issue.

long story short i got error cant find android.app.gapps. the first time after deleting **** and havent been able to fix it since

do any of you know how fix this like a complete restore not just a factory restore.
or is there a way to get the android 2.1 firmware from the web and reinstall from there or even better a possible 2.2 froyo firmware?

Since you didn't mention what brand and model of Android phone you have, what carrier you use, or what exactly you did when you rooted the device, no one is going to be able to help you. There are about 50 different Android phones on the market, and they all get rooted in different ways.

I would start here for help, under the forum for your specific device:
