Help! I can't remember a book title or author!?

It is a romance novel. I don't remember much, but the main character is a woman. It takes place on a resort I think. There is a husband(who is the head of a terrorist group) and wife, and a ?bodyguard? The bodyguard is an undercover agent of some kind. He gets shot early on (near a helicopter, i think), and the wife tries to seduce him. I believe the husband tries to kill the main character by placing a snake in her path, but she escapes. The husband finds out that the wife cheats on him, and ties her to the bed so she can't escape. Near the end of the book there is an explosion. The main character and the undercover agent fall in love. There is sex on the lawn in front of the cabin she is staying in, and in the mansion's pool (owned by the husband). That's all I can remember. Just bits and pieces. Please, if you have any ideas, it would be really helpful. It might be a nora roberts book, but I'm not sure! Thanks.
