HELP!! I have a misfire on cyl 4 & 5 in my '97 Ford Taurus GL (235k + miles).?

On Friday, 11/12, I had a misfire on cyl 4, 5 & 6. My husband replaced the plugs & wires to those cylinders. That cleared up cyl 6 misfire. We replaced the Ignition Coil. It didn't help, still misfiring on cyl 4 & 5. Replaced the plugs & wires a 2nd time.Still didn't help. Replaced the fuel filter. Seemed to work until I drove it to work this morning... 30 miles into trip to work, the check engine light started to flash. Put it on the computer when I got to work. Cylinders 4 & 5 missing, again.

Any suggestions??
 
Try replacing the distributor cap and rotory button. If it has these. Burnt prongs or cracked cap jumping fire.
