A8 Quattro, the Neutral safety swi? Help, I recently Installed a rebuilt Transmission on my 1998 Audi A8 Quattro, the Neutral safety switch is set correctly, park is park, reverse lights come on in reverese, I have a new starter..but when you turn it over...nothing..If I put a test light to it, the light will light up when the key is in the start mode, let off, light goes out..I put the starter on the bench to test...works fine..It does not seem like there is enough amps going to the starter plug terminal..help

You may need to have the transmission control module programmed to match the engine management computer.
Try calling Airbag Express (213) 590-3260 if you're in Southern California. They are a mobile electrical diagnostics service that usually has all of the necessary equipment to diagnose/program cars of all makes and models.
