Help? Leaving for vacation for 3 days and don't know where to leave my cat?

My cat Ashes is 3 years old and he hates pet daycares and strangers. I'm the only person he trusts and comes near to. There will be no one home and I'll be gone for 3 days! I can't take him with me because the resort we are staying at doesn't allow pets and he doesn't like traveling. Any advice on what to leave him with?
