I am not new to computers but I'm new about working with video files. I have successfully ripped several DVD movies into VOB files saved on my computer. I am ready to compress and convert those files to AVI. Do you know of a software that acts like a charm doing all this process in a single step. I have had some problems with other software that save the files with video and audio out of sync. The first one that describes a method that works using only freeware software will get the best answer. Thank you for your help.
