I need to build a stereo for a classic car, being 100% original it has to the following requirements
-Must run off a 12v cigarette lighter
-Small and easy to remove (preferably can sit in the foot well)
-Must not damage the interior
Money is no object (as I doubt I'd be able to spend very much on it anyway), I was thinking about making up a shoebox size MDF box, mounting a motorcycle amp ,a couple of decent 6.5" coaxials in it and using my ipod as a source.
I want it as loud and clean as possible.
Any suggestions for design or products to use please !?

I should be able to use up to 10amps through the cigarette lighter, I'm well aware it won't be a great system but I want the best I can do within the parameters I've set out.
