What if we lived in a modern civilization where there are Civilian families and Military families, Civilian families could go about their own business and raise their children however they wanted, however Military families would be completely different, they would raise their baby boys to be warriors, breaking them down to nothing and instilling ruthlessness in their hearts. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they are savages but that they are bred only to fight, they have to be smart because of the modern era and they need to be cunning, the girls would be raised to marry only boys from the military family in order to keep the bloodline going and would have to learn to be mentally stronger than civilian women due to not having men around often and having to train the children until the father can step in, the same code that the ancient Spartans used (Honor, Bravery, etc) would be sacred to these people and for over a century they would grow into a proud race of people...... Now here’s the plot twist, the civilians are getting worried that these people can’t be controlled and believe that if they wanted to could overthrow the government and do god knows what to them, The people grow to hate these modern Spartans due to paranoia and many of the warriors start wondering what the point is in protecting a society that doesn’t accept them, many of them begin to feel hatred toward the civilians for being so ungrateful while some believe that they simply just don’t understand..... Rebellion is becoming more and more of a possibility and Civilians begin to create their own army (much like the military you see today) and it is up to a handful of these warriors and civilians to bring back trust among the two people

This is just my basic outline that came to me in a dream the other night and I will add more and more to it as I go along, if you have any suggestions (ex. a name for the two sides) please don’t hesitate to do so. I also don’t have a problem when it comes to criticism unless it isn’t constructive
